With an extensive network of bike lanes, dedicated cycling paths, and the popular BIXI bike-sharing system, cycling in Montreal is both convenient and enjoyable.

What’s the vibe?

  • Relaxed Pace: If you’ve been hesitant to join a cycling group because of speed or intensity, this is the place for you. We pedal together at a pace that suits us all — focusing on the journey, not the race.
  • Easy Routes: Flat bike paths with little elevation change around Montreal.
  • Social Stops: Enjoy coffee or a bite to eat during rides (depending on timing).
  • Meet-Up Spot: Most rides start east of Atwater Market, in. the Super C parking lot near the PharmaPrix at north end of parking lot
    • A BIXI station is nearby as well as a bike shop if you would prefer to rent one of their bikes.
  • Helmets: Mandatory for all riders.
  • Check: Make sure both you and your bike are in good working order before joining us on the road.

How it works

Register for a ride
Go to the Trips section of the website to see dates for upcoming rides. Click Register, and you’ll find the link to register for that ride. We keep our groups to about 10 riders.

Where we usually meet
We usually meet east of Atwater Market in the Super C parking lot at the north end near PharmaPrix drug store. If you need a bike, you can rent a Bixi bike or another types of bikes at MaBicyclette near the canal.
